Volatile Organic Compounds

CleanAir performs a full range of emission tests to measure volatile organic compounds (VOC) including highly reactive volatile organic compounds (HRVOC) such as 1,3-butadiene, butenes, ethylene and propylene from process vents, flares and cooling towers, as well as fugitive emissions.  

We routinely perform standard USEPA methods 18, 21, 22, 25, 25A and 320.

Our speciated VOC measurement services include gas chromatography (GC) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR).   We also provide Pneumatic Focusing Gas Chromatography (PFGC) technology, which is a the patent-pending low-cost real-time technique for real-time VOC monitoring providing TO-14 type results in the parts per billion (ppb) detection range.   Services include:
