Making the World a Better Place.
CleanAir performs sound emissions tests for cooling towers to determine near field sound pressure levels or sound power levels at specified locations. Tests are typically performed to ensure that permitted limitations or contractual noise limits are not exceeded. These limits can be problematic as new facilities are being installed on ever decreasing plot sizes with equipment installation close to property lines.
CleanAir personnel recently participated in the revision of the CTI Code ATC-128 and presented a paper at the 2007 CTI winter meeting on the measurement of sound from cooling towers.
